On Thursday the 13th of July the World Ballet will journey to the German island of Sylt for the second time in its history. This year’s anniversary show will take place at the exclusive hotel Benen-Diken-Hof. The natural beauty of the surroundings is the perfect backdrop for a very special experience where culture and nature will gracefully be joined together.

Some of the world’s most talented ballet dancers from the companies The Royal Ballet of London, Staatsballet Berlin and the Mariinskij Ballet St. Petersburg will perform on stage with splendor, along with Danish opera stars and international musicians. The artistic framework surrounding the show is led by Danish tenor and presenter Jens-Christian Wandt, whose presence guarantees a coherent cultural event where anyone – newcomer as well as connaisseur – can keep up. We are delighted to be able to present new artists in this year’s six performances – the artists will be announced continuously in our news letter.
