Verdensballetten is looking forward to visiting the beautiful Møllerup Gods on Mols again.
In the years 2012 – 2019, the classic yellow walls of the estate and the well-maintained riding arena formed a fairytale setting for Verdensballetten, and for many guests the event was a wonderful summer tradition.
Now Verdensballetten is dancing again on Djursland and we thank the Gamborg family for the invitation.

PERFORMANCE WITH BALLET AND OPERA

This summer, Verdensballetten presents prima ballerinas and solo dancers from some of the world’s finest ballet companies, usually only seen on major international stages. The dancers are accompanied on stage by internationally recognized opera singers and classical musicians.

The program is an exquisite potpourri of excerpts from classic ballets such as Sleeping Beauty, Giselle and Manon, but also newly choreographed pieces created especially for Verdensballetten.

The artistic framework is set by tenor and emcee Jens-Christian Wandt, who with entertaining anecdotes about the show’s repertoire ties it all together into a complete evening of the highest caliber.

In the interplay between wind and weather and art, and with nature as a backdrop, we create a completely new ballet experience characterized by the special soul and character of this place in Djursland.

LONG TABLE DINNER AFTER THE PERFORMANCE

If you want to extend your experience at Møllerup Gods, you can enjoy an atmospheric long table dinner with seasonal local produce after the performance.

The dinner is served as social dining and consists of a starter, main course and a sweet treat.
The dinner also includes water and coffee, while wine, beer and soft drinks can be purchased on the day.

Doors open at 20:00.

PICNIC BASKET FOR 2 IN THE PARK BEFORE THE SHOW

Enjoy a picnic basket for two with a selection of both local and foreign specialties, homemade tapenades and Sylt. It comes with freshly baked bread and a sweet treat to finish it off.

The picnic basket includes two bottles of water and one bottle of white wine.

The wine can be exchanged for beer or soft drinks at the bar on the day.

Picnic baskets can be picked up between 15:00-17:00.

WORTH KNOWING BEFORE THE SHOW

The doors to the park open at 15:00, where you can pick up your picnic basket and buy drinks at the bar and enjoy them in the park. It is therefore not allowed to bring your own drinks.

Access to the seating areas will only be possible from 17:00.

Remember to bring your ticket either in print or digitally.

The performance lasts approximately two hours including intermission and starts on time.

Please note that there will be tables in front of the stage reserved for invited guests.

A variety of drinks and delicious snacks will be available for purchase from food trucks, and you can extend the experience with an exquisite long table or gourmet dinner after the performance as an option.

Please remember to dress warmly in the Danish summer – maybe even a raincoat and a blanket to share on the rows of chairs. For visibility reasons, umbrellas are not allowed.

At the request of the audience, it will now – as in any other theater space – not be allowed to take photos during the performance.

There are outdoor toilet facilities in the park.

There is free parking in the area, but no disabled parking. If this is needed, please arrive in good time for parking close to the venue.

Please note that the surface can vary between grass, gravel and cobblestone at Møllerup Gods.

Møllerup Gods offers a free companion ticket for wheelchair users or people with reduced mobility upon presentation of a valid companion certificate. Please contact Billetten’s call center on: +45 70 20 20 96 to “purchase” companion tickets.
