Summer is just around the corner, and at Verdensballetten we look forward to getting out and presenting ballet and classical music at the highest level.
Every year we put a lot of effort into putting together the right program for our artists and finding the most beautiful locations. But that’s not the only thing we care about.

We know that our audiences appreciate the atmosphere and setting and enjoy the wonderful opportunity to gather with friends and family over delicious food and cold drinks. The full Verdensballetten experience always starts long before the first dance steps.

Exquisite food at the castle
In a beautiful historic setting, Sostrup Castle offers both the opportunity to have lunch before the performance or to extend the experience with a 3-course dinner afterwards.

Delicious local produce is the main ingredient in both the delicious lunch with salmon, venison and homemade meatballs or the 4-course dinner with roast sirloin and rhubarb dessert. The delicious food is to be enjoyed in the historic Hunting Rooms at the castle.

Come and enjoy the unique atmosphere, share a splendid meal before experiencing unforgettable dancing in the Danish summer countryside with the castle as a backdrop.

Coffee, cookies and guns by Øresund
There’s also a great atmosphere at Sølyst, Den Kgl. Shooting Range in Klampenborg.
Here, our fantastic partner for several years has provided an amazing 2-course ballet menu that can be enjoyed in the beautiful bright rooms.

If you’d rather sit in the park and admire the natural surroundings, you can gather around a picnic box with delicious sliders or enjoy hot coffee and freshly baked cookies before the music starts and the dancers take the stage.

If you’re ready for a detour to foreign climes, then the Verdensballettenon Sylt is the place for you.
Here you can enjoy the holiday atmosphere at the charming hotel Benen-Diken-Hof, take a stroll on chalk-white beaches, before the evening offers world-class ballet.

Before the performance, an extraordinary culinary experience awaits as the garden is filled with various delicious food stalls offering oysters, bubbles and local delicacies.
